Who we write for
Our readers work in finance, operations, public administration, and technology. They already follow headlines. They want sourced notes they can use before the trading day and the working day begin. We write short when the fact is short, and we write longer when a filing or a ministry paper needs room.
The site is organised by desk: News, Markets, Policy, and Technology, plus the weekday Morning Brief. A reader who only needs policy can go there without scrolling through equity copy.
We employ editors and reporters in Singapore. Contributors are named on stories when they report. Interns do not publish unsupervised. We do not sell coverage. This site currently carries no third-party tracking pixels.
Standards
Facts are checked against documents and on-the-record comments. Anonymous sources are rare and must be known to the editor. We correct errors in the file. Material errors get a note at the top of the page. We do not fabricate quotes. We do not scrape other newsrooms and rewrite them as our own.
