These Terms of Use govern access to morningledgerpro.pro and to the weekday morning brief and reprint licences that Morning Ledger Pro may provide after an enquiry. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. For privacy practices, read the Privacy Policy. For cookies, read the Cookie Policy.

1. Who we are

Morning Ledger Pro is an independent news desk. We are not affiliated with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Singapore Exchange, any government ministry, or any listed company we cover. Names of public institutions appear in reporting because they are part of the news, not because we represent those institutions.

2. The service

We publish English-language reporting on Singapore markets, public policy, and technology. Section pages and the homepage are available to read without creating an account. The weekday morning brief is a separate condensed file. Desk access starts from SGD 18 a month. Reprint licences for published copy start from SGD 80. We do not publish a maximum price. Fees depend on use, territory, and circulation and are confirmed in writing after you enquire. We do not operate a login wall, a payment card form, or a government identity gate on this website.

News changes. A story describes facts as they stood at the time of writing. Later filings, ministry papers, or price moves may overtake a paragraph. We update files when we learn of a material change, but we do not warrant that every page is complete at every minute.

3. No investment, legal, or professional advice

Markets coverage is journalism. It is not personalised investment advice, not a solicitation to buy or sell any security or derivative, and not a research report prepared under a financial advisory licence. You should not treat a headline, a brief item, or a quoted analyst view as a recommendation. Policy coverage summarises public documents; it is not legal advice. Technology coverage describes systems and claims; it is not an audit. If you need advice, instruct a licensed professional who knows your facts.

We do not promise profits, guaranteed returns, or “instant” outcomes from reading the brief or any article. Language of that kind is not part of our editorial voice and should not be inferred.

4. Accounts and enquiries

You do not need an account to read the public pages. If you enquire about the brief or a reprint, you must provide an accurate name and a working email address. You must not impersonate another person. You must not use the form to send malware, bulk advertising, or content that is unlawful under Singapore law. We may refuse or end a briefing arrangement if the mailbox bounces, if invoices go unpaid after we have billed as agreed in writing, or if the copy is misused.

5. Intellectual property

Unless a caption says otherwise, Morning Ledger Pro owns or licences the text, layout, and original photography on this site. You may quote short extracts for criticism, review, or news reporting with attribution to Morning Ledger Pro and a link to the original URL where practicable. You may not copy an entire article, the brief, or a substantial part of either for commercial reuse without a licence. Scraping the site to train models or to republish our files as your own is not permitted.

Photographs are selected to illustrate beats. File names are generic. Some images are licensed from third-party libraries; those licences do not transfer to you when you view the page. If you want to reuse an image, ask the desk so we can tell you whether we can sublicence it.

6. Reprint licences

A reprint licence is a written permission to reproduce a specified story in a specified publication or channel for a specified period. It starts from SGD 80. We will not publish a ceiling figure here because a wire redistribution is not the same as a single internal printout. Until we confirm a licence in writing, you do not have permission to reproduce the full text. Attribution must remain on the copy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to probe, scan, or reverse-engineer the site in a way that degrades service for others. You must not introduce viruses. You must not use automated systems to submit the contact form. You must not frame the site so that it appears to be another publisher. You must not misuse our name to imply an official relationship with a regulator, exchange, or ministry.

8. Third-party links and maps

Articles link to filings, ministry pages, and company sites. Those destinations have their own terms. Google Maps on the contact page loads only after you accept functional cookies. Google’s terms apply to that embed. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites.

9. Accuracy and corrections

We aim to be accurate. If we are not, tell us through the contact form or desk@morningledgerpro.pro. We decide how to correct the file. A correction is not an admission of legal liability. Readers should not rely on a cached copy after we have updated a page.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Morning Ledger Pro is not liable for loss of profit, trading loss, or indirect loss arising from use of the site or the brief. Our reporting may contain errors despite care. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer under applicable law, your statutory rights remain.

If we are found liable in connection with the public website, our aggregate liability is limited to SGD 200 or the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, whichever is higher, except where the law forbids that limit. Paid brief subscribers may have additional terms in a written confirmation; if those terms conflict with this paragraph on paid service only, the written confirmation prevails for that service.

11. Indemnity

If you misuse the site, scrape our files, or republish our copy without a licence, you will indemnify Morning Ledger Pro against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs that result from that misuse, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Suspension

We may suspend access if we need to repair the site, if we believe a use breaches these terms, or if we are required to do so by law. We may stop publishing a section. We will not hide that change behind a different page for some visitors; everyone sees the same HTML at a given URL.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to protect intellectual property.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change. If you continue to use the site after an update, the new terms apply to that later use. For a paid brief already in force, material changes to fees will be notified to the billing email we have on file before they apply to the next billing cycle.
